A GLOBAL FUTURE FOR OUR STUDENTS

Dear Prospective Community Members,

Welcome to ULink College Guangzhou!

The Mission of ULink College Guangzhou challenges students to put themselves at the centre of their own learning and develop responsibility and confidence in themselves. Our strong British international curriculum helps us to provide the academic excellence and English proficiency students will need to be successful. Our best practice approach to teaching and learning makes students move towards becoming both independent learners and critical thinkers.

To prepare students for their future we believe in encouraging them to develop strong transferable skills that are academic, social, focused on both needs and interests. Through a strong externally validated curriculum culminating in IGCSE and A Level qualifications, our students are able to access the top universities around the world and achieve their dreams.

There are many reasons to choose our school if you share the values embedded in our Mission and Vision. Here are six special features of ULC.
  • Excellent teaching and learning ensured by a focus on best practice in education with about sixty highly specialized top teachers recruited from both around the world and China.
  • A system of close regular communication and meetings at school with parents. For example, our local homeroom supervisors are in frequent regular two-way contact to help fully involve parents in pastoral and academic issues.
  • A highly supportive college application service, with each student receiving one-on-one support from their personal adviser.
  • Extra academic support after school to give help when needed and also to specifically prepare students for the most highly selective universities.
  • A two month study abroad English-immersion programme at the beginning of Grade 9 that enables students to develop a strong intercultural understanding of the challenges ahead before going to university abroad.
  • Wide ranging opportunities to participate in sports and after school activities on our beautiful and well equipped modern campus.

ULink College Guangzhou educates the whole student through its core programme but also believes that every student is an individual. Hence our choice of subjects for students to study is very broad, enabling students to achieve the qualifications needed to take any degree subject at an English speaking university outside China.
