Admission Regulations

GUIS-ULC provides British curriculum IGCSE and A-Level courses. All the students applying for our school need to attend entry exam due to the difficulty of IGCSE and A Level and to judge the potential to complete the courses from which they will benefit. Candidates must register online for the entry exam.

Admission plan and admission policy are as follows.



Admission Policies

Admission Target Group
All students with different race, religious belief and education background are considered and treated equally at ULC. However, ULC does not provide support for students with special physical, emotional, or learning needs. Therefore we will not accept the applications from these students.

Recruitment standard
Students need to meet the standard of English and Mathematics needed to be successful with the school's programme. Retake for the failed subject is allowed. Each student can retake twice.

Grade for study
Once the student pass the entrance exam for the grade they apply, they are allowed to study in this grade. If they pass the higher grade entrance exam., they are allowed to study in this grade, or stay in the lower one. This policy is not applied to fresh G11 students.
>
Study Abroad Program in Australia
Spring Semester enrolled students and Fall Semester enrolled G9 students are required to complete an overseas program at our sister school in Australia for better transition to GUIS-ULC regular English-immersion curriculum.

Recruitment Policy
Once school meets the admission planned number of students, the recruitment is finished.


*All policies mentioned are for students applied for GUIS-ULC Spring Semester of school year 2024-2025 and Fall Semester of school year 2025-2026. For the cost and application procedure please refer to school official website.
