ARTS & SPORTS
Arts
Creativity and independent thinking and learning are essential life skills that are vital to a well-rounded and successful individual. Teachers in the Art department are passionate about their subject and strive to enthuse, engage and challenge each student they teach. Students develop their skills and understanding of concepts in a welcoming and safe environment, producing their own original artwork through drawing, painting, printmaking, working with clay, collage, or photography. Through making Art and achieving an understanding of Art, students develop confidence to become successful members of a global community. As a school, we are proud of the success of our young artists.

Sports
Our mission for lifelong personal and social development is supported by offering many activities away from the classroom. In addition to PE as part of the taught programme, our school provides a wide range of opportunities to take part in different sports after school, some competitive, some not. We compete seasonally with other international schools in the Pearl River Delta region in basketball, volleyball, tennis, and football for example. Good health, fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship, and leadership are all developed through taking part in after school sports. --Antony Hickling
