Peer tutoring has been a very useful opportunity in ULC for many years, for both tutors and tutees.
Academic Office set up a database for the volunteer senior students who are willing to tutor younger student in particular academic subjects in the beginning of each school year.
There is also a more structured and teacher-monitored Peer Tutoring programme in English via the English Department. This operates through different grade levels with careful feedback on progress for both the tutors and the tutored.
Those working as tutors will be developing important leadership skills as well as helping to consolidate their own knowledge and understanding as a teacher of the subject.
